Investiture Ceremony for the Junior Council


The Investiture Ceremony for the Junior Council of DPS Khanna for the academic session 2019-20 was organized in the school with great grandeur. Mr. D.S. Bains, the Chairperson presided over the function and conferred the sashes and badges to the students. Taranveer Singh was selected as the Head Boy and Eknoor Kaur was selected as the Head Girl of the school. Namam Tondon was appointed as the Deputy Head Boy whereas Shranya Tondon was appointed as the Deputy Head Girl. Gursheeen Sekhon, Nimrat Kaur, Samreen Kaur and Vanij Jain were selected for the Editorial Board. Gursimar Singh took oath as the Sports Captain. Khushi Batta was selected as the Captain of the Falcons House whereas Ranbir Singh was selected as the Captain of the Panthers House. Bhawanjot Kaur was selected as the Captain of the Stallions House and Mannat Kaur was selected as the Captain of the Tuskers House. The newly-appointed council took oath to execute their duties in the true spirit. All the members were congratulated by the Principal.

Earth Day


DPS Khanna celebrated the Earth Day with great zeal and zest today. The event was organized with great splendor by the Faculty of Science. Sanya, the student of Grade IX gave an introduction on the importance of this day. A healthy talk on the environment was initiated by Manya, Khushdeep and Ashneet of Grade IX. The atmosphere in the courtyard was filled with great love towards mother Nature. A mime was also presented by the students of Grade VII to throw some light on the most burning issue of today ‘Value of Trees’. A melodious shabad was also sung by the DPS choir. The programme ended with the valuable words of the Hon’ble Chairman which motivated everyone around to save the only livable planet ‘The Earth’.

Breaking the Ice


Playing games for sure brings a smile on child’s face and ofcourse the best way to start the new session. The young learners of DPS Khanna had a great time playing different games. The Nursery students enjoyed playing ‘Pick and throw’ game while the Prep students played ‘Musical Chair’ with great enthusiasm.

Joys of the Graduation Ceremony


A broad smile was writ large on the faces of the students of Kindergarten section of DPS Khanna during the Graduation Ceremony held on March 5, 2019.

Mr. D.S.Bains, the Chairman of the school was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Students were felicitated with certificates and scrolls by Mr. Bains on their promotion to Grade I.

It was a red letter day for the students as well as their parents. The tiny tots seemed quite enthusiastic and felt honoured. The day started with a melodious Bhajan by the students of Nursery and Prep. Small kids of Prep enthralled everyone by playing Casio.Prep girls gave a mesmerizing performance on Saraswati Vandana followed by yet another dance performance by the students of Prep I and II. The talented kids of Prep I left everyone spell bound through a role play depicting the plight of child labour.

Mr. Bains exhorted the students to be sincere and to diligently march forward to achieve their goals.

The students thoroughly enjoyed putting on their Graduation gowns and caps. The programme came to an end with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Neha Rattan, the Headmistress of the School.

Republic Day Celebrations


Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in DPS  Khanna. The celebration started with the unfurling of the Tricolor. The students of Classes V and VI presented a dance choreography that highlighted the spirit of secularism. The group song filled every heart with patriotism. Pre primary students came dressed in the  tricolours presenting the feeling of oneness and brotherhood. These little charmers rocked the show with their confident ramp walk and recited beautiful poems. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.

Farewell Party 2018


Today DPS Khanna bid farewell to the outgoing batch of Class XII. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers. The theme of the valedictory party was Punjabi attire. Nishtha Khullar presented an incredible performance and Hardeep Singh sang a melodious song which was well applauded. Pratyaksha Sharma and Yaadveer Singh were declared as Miss Farewell and Mr. Farewell 2018-19.

Winter Carnival at DPSK


The much awaited Winter Carnival of Delhi Public School Khanna was held on 19.1.2019 in the school premises afloat the spirit of the school motto’Service before Self’.

The school grounds pulsated with scintillating ambience, melodious music and a lively crowd.The carnival had something in store for everyone , be it adults or children.

An array of edible delights,interesting competitions for the mother’s as well as kids attuned to the theme ,bonfire,dj,music,dance and the well applauded dance choreography staged by the teachers reminding us of the valour of Indian army ensured an unforgettable time with the near and dear ones.

Lohri Celebration at DPS Khanna


The campus of DPS Khanna wore a festive look when the Pre-Primary students celebrated Lohri with great exuberance , fun fair and a spirit of generosity seeking brotherhood and distributing their affection amongst one and all.

DPS Khanna Annual Fete 2018-19


Delhi Public School Khanna successfully organised its annual fete on 22nd December 2018.Despite of biting cold, the event saw enthusiastic participation of the students and parents alike. It was a wow experience for everyone because of the mouthwatering foodstalls put up in the fete. The Punjabi Rasoi was appreciated by one and all. Different kinds of swings were installed for the children to enjoy themselves. There were a host of exciting fun games and activities that involved both parents and children.

Baby show, Painting competition, Dance competition and Fancy Dress Competitions were the major attraction. The winners of these competitions were suitably rewarded.

Raffle draw was the highlight of the day. The chairman Mr. D.S. Bains lauded the efforts of the whole DPS family for making this event a grand success.
