Taking into account these words of Mahatma Gandhi, DPS Khanna came up with an initiative by the students of Grade I,II & III of planting saplings and further by gifting them to all the staff members. The school also distributed trash cans in the market to proceed further with the Go Green Campaign.

 

Special Assembly


Special assembly was held on July 16,2016 on the theme of ‘Tree Plantation’ by stallion House to bring awareness among the students for a healthy environment.

Rain Dance Party


A Fun Rain Dance Party was the highlight of the day for the little angels of the Pre Primary Wing.The little kids enjoyed the rain as they danced carrying their colourful umbrellas! It was super fun!

Orange Colour Day Celebration


ORANGE DAY was celebrated on the 18th of July by the students of Pre-Primary section. The teachers and students wore orange colour clothes. They enjoyed orange colour beverages and had a great day! What a fun way to learn about colours!

Talent Hunt Competition


A Dance Competition was held from July 13,2016 to July 15,2016 for the students of Pre-Primary wing. Ms.Anju Sood and Ms.Geetu Arora were the Judges for the event.The performance of the tiny kids enthralled everyone.

Sahodaya Swimming Competition


“Sahodaya Swimming Champions 2016- Delhi Public School Khanna”

Zeal and zest marked the Sahodaya Swimming Competition 2016.Delhi Public School Khanna bagged the first prize at the Sahodaya Swimming Competition 2016, held at its premises from 24 May to 25 May 2016. The swimmers of our school brought laurels by emerging the overall champions for the second time in a row.

The Dipsites, Sukhmanvir Singh and Yugamvir Singh were declared the Best Swimmer in the under-14 and under-18 category respectively.

Delhi Public School Khanna hosted the Sahodaya School Swimming Competition for the second time in a row. The event was inaugurated by the Chairperson, Mrs. Annu Bains. Students from 5 schools participated in the event. The swimmers competed in different styles such as breast stroke, back stroke, butterfly stroke and free style in the under 14 and 18 categories. All the students displayed sportsmanship and participated enthusiastically.

Health & Fitness Month


Health & Fitness was the theme of the month of May for the students of Pre Primary classes. Yoga & Exercise were a regular part of their morning assembly to promote awareness for physical fitness. A summer fruit party was also organized for the tiny tots.
